What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured a driver at I-10 in San Antonio, TX on August 29th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:13 a.m. A Ford Explorer operated by 39-year-old Atanacia Pasillas Martinez is accused of veering from the road into the shoulder, striking a disabled Chevrolet Equinox operated by 34-year-old Gabriel Morales. Morales suffered serious injuries in the collision. Additional passengers and Martinez were not injured. Police charged Martinez with Intoxication Assault and Failure to Stop and Render Aid. A passenger in the Ford was charged with Public Intoxication.
