What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 322 in Rusk County, TX on January 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:13 a.m. Investigators say a Chevrolet Trailblazer operated by 43-year-old Gabriela Flores Bozeman was headed southbound on State Hwy 322 when it veered from the road into a embankment. It then struck a downed tree and went into a side skid, overturning two times and ejecting Bozeman from the vehicle. Bozeman suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
