Police have information on a crash that injured several people involved at State Hwy 46 in Kendall County, TX on July 29th, 2024. Officials say it happened around 4:46 p.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes-Benz GLE was northbound on Truss Dr as a GMC Sierra headed eastbound on Hwy 46. Police allege the Mercedes-Benz allegedly turned when unsafe to perform a u-turn, entering int the path of the GMC before the vehicles collided. Sources indicate the driver of the GMC, identified as 74-year-old Gary Wade, was seriously injured. Also seriously injured was his 71-year-old passenger, two passengers in the Mercedes-Benz and its operator, police say. Additional information was not available.
