What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Wade Rd in Harris County, TX on January 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Focus operated by 62-year-old Geonveva Flores was headed southbound on Wad Rd as it began reversing into a private driveway. Police allege a southbound Nissan Altima struck the Ford as it reversed, due to the possibility of one of the vehicles failure to yield. Flores  had injuries believed to be minor in nature while the driver of the Nissan, a 48-year-old Baytown man, was more seriously injured. Offices allege the Baytown man displayed signs of intoxication at the scene.
