Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35 in New Braunfels, TX on April 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:11 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Escape operated by 77-year-old George Cushanick was headed westbound Executive Dr, approaching a stop sign. At the same time, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 33-year-old New Braunfels man was headed northbound on 35, approaching the Executive Dr stop. Police allege the vehicles collided as the Ford was performing a left turn at the intersection. Cushanick suffered suspected serious injuries while the other driver was reportedly uninjured.
