What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 281 in Marble Falls, TX on March 27th, 2022. Officials are saying it happened around 4:51 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Santa Fe operated by 37-year-old April Miller was headed northbound on US 281 before stopping in a southbound center turn lane, waiting to turn eastbound into a parking lot. As the vehicle made its turn, police say it was struck by an approaching Lincoln MKX operated by 80-year-old George Poage Jr.  The collision seriously injured Poage while a passenger, 79-year-old Nancy Poage, suffered less serious injuries. Miller was reportedly unharmed. Additional information was not immediately available.
