Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information regarding a crash that injured multiple people at Trojan Dr in Corpus Christi, TX on May 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Cherokee operated by 42-year-old Gilbert Salazar is accused of failing to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection with Waterfall before colliding with an eastbound Nissan Altima. The driver of the Altima, identified as 18-year-old Nathaniel James Garcia, suffered minor injuries as died two 17-year-old passengers. A passenger in the Jeep, identified as 34-year-old Jessica Marie Alvarez, was seriously injured as was Salazar. A citation for No Driver’s License and a citation for Failure to Stop at Stop Sign were recommended and/or issued by responding officers
