Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  FM 70 in Nueces County, TX in June 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:15 a.m. A Hyundai Venue operated by 22-year-old Gina Vasquez was reportedly taking a curve at an unsafe speed when it veered from the road. The vehicle then drove over a shoulder and crossed over a culvert. The vehicle then overturned, causing Vasquez serious injuries. Police allege that Vasquez consumed alcohol prior to the crash.
