What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a woman at County Rd 24 in Ochiltree County, TX on December 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:15 p.m. A Saturn SUV traveling south on County Rd 24 when it veered from the road for unknown reasons. While attempting to correct back onto the road, investigators say the vehicle lost control and rolled into a ditch. The driver, identified as 21-year-old Gloria Hernandez, was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries that she died from.
