What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Callaghan Rd in San Antonio, TX on June 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:19 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Explorer operated by a 35-year-old San Antonio man was traveling on northbound on Callaghan as a Toyota Sienna operated by 47-year-old Godfrey Obayangbor, was headed southbound. Reports indicate the Ford performed a turn into the path of the Toyota, causing a collision between the two. Obayangbor suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized. The San Antonio man was arrested on charges that include Driving While Intoxicated and Intoxication Assault.
