Police say the incident happened around 11:06 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 33-year-old Dayton, OH man was stopped at the intersection of TX 11 with Hillcrest when investigators say it failed to yield upon pulling away from the stop sign. It collided with a Nissan Frontier operated by 80-year-old Gordon Brodie, who suffered minor injuries. The Dayton man was not injured and reports indicate he was recommended and/or issued a Failure to Yield Right of Way charge.
