What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at US 287 and County Rd 31 in Armstrong County, TX on July 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:25 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by Gordon Elmore was headed eastbound on US 287 when it lost control at a curve for unknown reasons. The vehicle veered into a center median before overturning. Elmore was ejected from the vehicle and taken to an are hospital with injuries he later passed away from. Additional information was not immediately available.
