Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash at State Hwy 198 in Gun Barrel City, TX on March 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:09 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Commander operated by42-year-old Wendy Holian was headed northbound on Gun Barrel Lane when it allegedly failed to maintain its lane and collided with a Honda Odyssey in a turn lane. The driver of the Odyssey, 62-year-old Grace Groupvongraupen, suffered serious injuries. Holian suffered minor injuries and reports indicate an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued.
