What Happened

Beaumont Police have identified the woman killed in a crash at I-10 and 7th St in Beaumont, TX on April 2nd, 2022. They say it happened around 5:20 a.m. Their initial investigation found a passenger vehicle occupied by four people, two adults and two children, was traveling at a high rate of speed while taking an exit. They said the vehicle then collided with a tree and the occupants of the vehicle were all ejected from the car. 25-year-old Gregorian Carter died at the scene while a 5-year-old and 1-year-old child were hospitalized in critical condition. The other adult, who police say it the father of the family, suffered head injuries. Additional information was not provided.
