What Happened

Houston Police are now investigating following a collision that left a bicyclist dead at Fuqua St in Houston, TX on July 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Investigators allege an 18-wheeler exited from a Goodwill lot, allegedly traveling onto an incorrect side of Sabo Road. As this occurred, a bicyclist, approached. Police believe the bicycle may have crossed into the path of the 18-wheeler  and the two collided, leaving the cyclist with fatal injuries at the scene. The cyclist was identified as 56-year-old Gregory Maduzia. The condition of the truck operator was not stated and police did not disclose additional information.
