Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-20 in Dallas, TX on March 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:50 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was headed westbound on I-20 as a Chrysler Town & Country allegedly attempted to go around the truck. In the process, reports say the Chrysler struck the rear of the truck, causing the Chrysler to lose control and overturn multiple times. Sources indicate the driver of the Chrysler, identified as 50-year-old Gregory Smith, was partially ejected from the vehicle as it overturned. Smith was fatally injured in the incident, reports say.
