What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at FM 1925 in Elsa, TX on October 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:38 a.m. Officials say a Chevrolet Silverado headed westbound on FM 1925 collided with another vehicle headed southbound on Mile 4 W that failed to yield. An approached motorcycle operated by 68-year-old Gustavo Vasquez Cervantes is said to have collided with the Chevrolet after it became disabled from the crash. The collision caused Cervantes was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Additional information was not immediately available.
