What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-20 in Abilene, TX on May 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:13 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 30-year-old San Angelo man was headed westbound on I-20 behind a Toyota Prius and Lexus. The truck is said to have moved into an inside lane in order to avoid collided with vehicles in an outside lane. It then collided with the Prius, operated by 35-year-old Hailey Elizabeth Frazier, and caused Frazier minor injuries. The San Angelo man was not injured.
