What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two drivers at State Hwy 7 in Shelby County, TX on January 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla operated by 24-year-old Glynndarius McCoy was headed westbound on Hwy 7 before crossing into an inside westbound lane. It collided with an eastbound Cadillac XT4 operated by 21-year-old Hallie Martin. Martin suffered minor injuries while McCoy had more serious injured. An Open Container in Motor Vehicle charge was recommended and/or issued against McCoy.
