What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a teen at FM 114 near Clarksville, TX on May 9th, 2022. Officials say it happened around 3 p.m. A Ford Explorer operated by 17-year-old Alexzandra Goodwin was reportedly eastbound on FM 114 when it veered from the road for unknown reasons. The vehicle began to roll and ejected a passenger, 18-year-old Harley Goodwin, before coming to rest. Harley died from her injuries shortly after arrival at an area hospital while Alexandra was hospitalized with minor injuries. A second passenger, identified as 19-year-ld Lindsay Hines, was also hospitalized with serious injuries. Police had no additional details to share.
