What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  State Hwy 14 in Limestone County, TX on August 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:25 p.m. A Dodge Ram operated by 65-year-old Harrell Ray Mosley reportedly attempted to pass a tractor-trailer in southbound traffic but ran out of space. As it attempted to move back into the lane before it collided with the truck, skidded from the road and overturned. Mosley was partially ejected from the driver side window and suffered serious injuries. The other driver was not injured. Police issued Mosley a Passing with Insufficient Clearance charge.
