Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Tucker Dr in Parker County, TX on August 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:10 a.m. A Hyundai Elantra operated by Hayley Byers was allegedly traveling at an unsafe speed before it lost control at a curve. It went into a skid and went over a driveway before crashing through a fence and into a ditch. A passenger in the vehicle, Marisa Garcia-Rusk, was seriously injured. Byers suffered less serious injuries. Investigators suspect that Byers may have been drinking prior to the crash. Additional details were not available.
