What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at I-35 in Fort Worth, TX on October 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:04 a.m. According to investigators, a Subaru Outback was northbound on I-35W. At the same time, 25-year-old Haylie Nicole Hamilton was walking in or near the roadway. Reports say as the vehicle approached, the vehicle collided with Hamilton. Police say Hamilton was struck by another vehicle, the collision leaving Hamilton with fatal injuries. Reports say both vehicles remained at the scene for authorities.
