Police say the incident happened around 7:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger operated by a 19-year-old Aubrey, TX man was headed westbound on TX 114 with a Ford Escape operated by 30-year-old Heather Dick. Police allege the Charger failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the Ford. The impact caused the Ford to strike a light pole after overturning, causing serious injuries to Dick. The Aubrey man had minor injuries and reports indicate he was issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
