Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  I-10 in San Antonio, TX on November 16th, 2021. Officials say the incident happened around 7:46 p.m. A Volkswagen Beetle operated by 30-year-old Heather Nycole Gomez was headed northbound on I-10 when investigators believe the vehicle may have lost control. It then collided with a road barrier, causing Gomez serious injuries. Responding officers allege Gomez admitted to consuming alcohol prior to the crash.
