What Happened

Officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 16 in San Saba County, TX on October 23rd, 2024. Police say the incident happend around 9:17 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer is said to have entered a curve before striking a guardrail and overturning. Reprots say the driver, identified as 75-year-old Gonzales Salazar, was ejected from the vehicle into a nearby creek bed, suffering fatal injuries. There were no other reported injuries and authorities did not have additional inforamtion available.
