Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Bellaire Blvd in Bellaire, TX on August 23rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:25 p.m. A Nissan Pathfinder operated by 55-year-old Homero Trevino Espinosa was traveling westbound on Bellaire when it allegedly ran a red light, colliding with an Acura MDX operated by 46-year-old Amy Hsinyi Chien. Chien was not injured. Espinosa suffered serious injuries and charged with Running a Red Light and No Driver's License. Investigators also allege that Espinosa may have been drinking prior to the crash.
