Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 69 in Angelina County, TX on September 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:50 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by 54-year-old Howard Gray was northbound before proceeding into an intersection on a green light. Officials say a Ford Mustang operated by a 23-year-old Lufkin man was southbound, entering into a left turn lane. Police say the vehicle was required to yield to northbound traffic before the two vehicles collided, the impact causing both vehicles to overturn. Officials say both the Lufkin man and Gray were seriously injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
