What Happened

El Paso Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Gateway East in El Paso, TX on September 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:52 p.m. Police are saying a motorcycle was eastbound on Gateway East before leaving the roadway for unconfirmed reasons. Upon doing so, reports say the driver, identified as 19-year-old Hugo Alexis Montiel-Sanchez, was ejected from the vehicle, suffering serious injuries. Authorities say Montiel-Sanzhez was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
