What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Americas Ave in El Paso, TX on May 10thh, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. According to investigators, a Pontiac Grand Am operated by 55-year-old Aida Reyes was reportedly disabled in a northbound lane of travel. A passenger from the vehicle, identified as 53-year-old Humberto Reyes Jr, was reportedly standing behind the disabled Pontiac before he was struck by a Hyundai Elantra operated by 22-year-old Leonel Bravo Jr. Reyes was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries on June 6th.
