Authorities have information on a crash that injured at least one person at State Hwy 294 in Anderson County, TX on December 2nd, 2023. Polices say the incident happened around 2 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Caliber headed westbound on State Hwy 294 is said to have lost control for unconfirmed reasons, veering from the road. While attempting to correct back onto the roadway, reports say the vehicle went into a ditch and down an embankment. From there, police say the vehicle overturned before colliding with a tree. Reports continue that the occupant of the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Hunter Kay, required emergency extrication from the vehicle and was hospitalized with injuries said to be serious in nature. Authorities did not have additional information.
