Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at  I-20 in Harrison County, TX on September 1st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1 p.m. A tractor-trailer headed eastbound was stopped due to traffic from a previous collision when a Ford F-150 collided with the rear of the stopped truck. The impact sent the Ford into a ditch and the driver, 29-year-old Ian Wayne Derouen, suffered fatal injuries. The truck driver was not injured. Additional information was not available.
