What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at I-20 in Arlington, TX on May 16th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:58 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Econoline was westbound is said to have failed to control its speed before colliding with a Kia Sorento. The impact is said to have caused the Kia to lose control and veer into an adjacent lane where it collided with an approaching Mazda CX-3. Authorities say the driver of the Kia, identified as 57-year-old Indrig Cortes, was seriously injured. The driver of the Mazda, identified as 61-year-old Nanay Conant, was also seriously injured, reports say. The driver of the Ford was not publicly identified and allegedly uninjured.
