Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that killed one person at I-35 in Cooke County, TX on November 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:01 p.m. According to investigators, a Kia Rio was headed southbound before veering into a median for unclear reasons. From there, reports say the vehicle overturned, coming to rest in the northbound lanes. 51-year-old driver, Irene Halstied, suffered fatal injuries in the incident.
