Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 1924 in Palmhurst, TX on July 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:41 a.m. A Chevrolet Cruze operated by 44-year-old Juan Vicente Granados was headed eastbound behind a Ford Fusion operated by 36-year-old Irma Hernandez when the Cruze failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the Fusion, After the impact, the Cruze is said to have left the scene before Granados was later located and arrested on a charge of Intoxication Assault. Hernandez was evaluated for injuries whose severity were unconfirmed.
