Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured as many as three people at Loop 12 in Dallas, TX on March 17th, 2024. Police believe the incident happened around 12:17 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra headed westbound on Loop 12 is alleged to have been traveling as a speed that was unsafe for the wet road conditions. Authorities say the vehicle attempted a faulty evasive action, causing it to enter oncoming traffic before veering back into westbound lanes and striking a Dodge Ram. Reports say 46-year-old Dodge passenger, Irma Villela, was seriously injured. Two additional passengers as well as 42-year-old driver, Juan Saavedra Trejo, had less serious injuries. The other driver, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured and cited for No Valid Texas Driver License. Additional information was not available.
