What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that multiple three people at FM 1433 in Dimmit County, TX on June 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:40 p.m. Authorities claim a Chrysler 300 headed southbound on FM 1433 lost control while navigating a curve in the road. Reports say the vehicle entered into northbound travel lanes, colliding with a Dodge Ram, the impact causing the Chrysler to overturn into a nearby shoulder and catch fire. Reports say the 17-year-old driver of the Chrysler as well as a 17-year-old passenger and 20-year-old passenger were all killed. Also killed was the 50-year-old driver of the Dodge, identified as Isabel Small, 64-year-old San Juanita De La Cruz, 83-year-old Victor Martinez and a 13-year-old passenger. Two child passengers, ages 9 and 5 had serious injuries, reports say. Additional information was not available.
