What Happened

El Paso Police are investigating a collision that killed a person at  I-10 in El Paso, TX on June 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:37 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Mustang operated by 22-year-old Isaias Joel Garcia was stopped on the roadway for unknown reasons before a westbound GMC Sierra operated by 29-year-old Juana Elizabeth Caballero Macias collided with the Ford. The impact caused Garcia fatal injuries. Macias and a passenger, 23-year-old Christina Hernandez, were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
