Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that killed  a driver at  I-20 in Mesquite, TX on September 24th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:14 a.m. A Pontiac Vibe operated by 55-year-old Isidro Torres was headed westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-20 when it veered into a westbound median and fell down an embankment. The vehicle landed on its driver's side and caught fire, causing Torres fatal injuries. Additional information was not available.
