Officials are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at I-30 in Dallas, TX on August 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:18 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Challenger headed northbound is alleged to have failed to yield before turning left and entering into the path of an approaching Hyundai Sonata. Following the collision, reports say the Dodge fled the scene before later being located by authorities. Officials say the driver of the Hyundai, identified as 24-year-old Ismelda Vargas, had injuries considered non-life-threatening in nature. A 26-year-old passenger in the Dodge had serious injuries, police say. The driver, age 25 and not publicly identified, had possible, unconfirmed injuries.
