What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at Hwy 6 in Houston, TX on May 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:25 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle headed southbound is said to have collided with a northbound Kia that made a left turn at Groeschke Rd. Authorities say the motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle. Following the impact, the Kia is said to have fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The motorcyclist, identified as 32-year-old Issa Maswanya, was fatally injured.
