What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Loop 130 in Travis County, TX on December 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:27 a.m. Investigators say a Jeep Cherokee operated by 49-year-old Izja Sejdiu was headed southbound in a far right lane ahead of a truck towing a trailer. The truck is alleged to have failed to control its speed and struck the Jeep, leaving Izja Sejdiu with serious injuries. The truck driver, a 67-year-old Valley View man, was also seriously injured in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
