What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at County Rd 3528 in Cherokee County, TX on June 26th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda headed northbound on County Rd 3521 is said to have veered from the road while turning left onto County Rd 3528. While doing so, the vehicle is said to have veered into a borrow rich and overturned, ejecting and pinning the driver as it overturned. Reports say both a 20-year-old passenger had minor injuries while 20-year-old driver, Jackson Monaghan, was seriously injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
