Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at Zipp Rd in Guadalupe County, TX on September 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:45 p.m. A motorcycle operated by 32-year-old Jacob Allen Meurin was headed eastbound on Zipp Rd when it lost control and turned onto its right side. Both Meurin and the bike slid along the ground several feet before coming to rest near a ditch. Meurin suffered serious injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
