Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 79 in Anderson County, TX on September 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:35 a.m. According to investigators, a passenger car operated by 22-year-old Jacob Daniels was headed northeast before crossing a center line and colliding head-on with a semi-truck operated by 61-year-old Ellis Barber.
