Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Cannon Dr in Mansfield, TX on June 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:13 a.m. According to investigators, a Smart Fortwo operated by 24-year-old Jacob Dilbeck was headed southwest on Cannon Drive. Police believe the vehicle lost control while taking a curve in the roadway, causing it to strike a curb. The vehicle is believe to traveled up onto the curb before hitting a drainage opening, The vehicle ended up veering from there across other lanes before overturning. Officers say Dilbeck suffered suspected serious injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
