What Happened

Police have inforamtion on a crash that killed two people at FM 2109 in Angelina County, TX on August 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 headed northbound on FM 2109 is said to have lost control while navigating a slight cave in the roadway. Reports say the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a concrete culvert, sending it into the air where it spun. Before landing, police say the vehicle ejected both occupants of the vehicle before coming to rest in a tree line. The occupants were identified as 29-year-old alleged driver, Jeremey Sullivan and 21-year-old alleged passenger, Jacob Goodfriend. Both suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Authorities did not have additional information available.
