What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 287 in Mansfield, TX on October 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:10 p.m. A GMC Sierra operated by 22-year-old Jacob Wayne Robinson was exiting a private drive and is said to have performed a wide right turn, striking the rear of a Toyota Tundra operated by 46-year-old John Chambers. Police say the Sierra continued driving before it was involved in a separate crash. Chambers was not injured. Robinson suffered serious injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
