Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at Ballpark Way in Arlington, TX on June 21st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:38 p.m. An Infiniti G35 operated by 22-year-old Lauren Romero reportedly failed to yield at a crosswalk with flashing yellow lights and struck a pedestrian, identified as 72-year-old Jacqueline Barbee as she crossed. Barbee suffered serious injuries in the collision. Romero was found the be allegedly intoxicated by responding officers and arrested for Intoxication Assault.
