Dallas Police have details on a crash that injured a driver at President George Bush Turnpike in Dallas, TX on October 9th, 2021. They say it happened around 10:09 p.m. A Jeep Cherokee operated by 25-year-old Jade Mizzell was headed eastbound on the Turnpike when it veered from the road at a curve. Police say Mizzell allegedly stated that she had become distracted while talking on the phone and the vehicle lost control at a result. It attempted to correct back onto the road and went into a side skid before striking a guardrail. Mizzell suffered serious injuries and was issued a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
